Production Assembler is an essential role at Barron that has a direct impact on the reputation and the profitability of the company. You will work closely with your supervisor to provide the best possible product in the production process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for assembling parts fowling routing or schematics. Add all hardware electronics,
transformers, and covers to all assemblies
  • Verifying correct quantities of parts and monitoring completed items for quality and manages parts bin
quantities and notifies the material handler, production supervisor or lead person when quantities are
low or insufficient to maintain production.
  • Processes assemblies using a variety of hand tools.
  • Assembles lighting fixtures by performing repetitive line assembly operations such as assembling,
sorting and packaging.
  • Assembling components into finished lighting products and performing testing of lighting products.
  • Prepare and properly package items for shipment.
  • Maintain expected progress in area of assignment and promptly communicate issues.
  • Perform other related responsibilities and carry out 5S and housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Responsible for special assignments may include processing rework, scrap and proper disposal of
batteries.
  • Assisting with processing PCB boards on assembly line includes applying solder paste/mask and
placing components to PCB boards preparing for solder wave.
  • Hand solder parts that are not capable of the wave machine


What you bring to our vision:
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1 year experience in production environment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Assembler must be able to bend and pick up parts weighing 15-25 lbs, occasionally lift over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced controlled environment for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to access and use computer systems (Excel, Word, Gmail)

ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required stand for long periods of time, sit or walk, hand coordination, use of hands for simple grasping and handling of tools and controls, finger dexterity is required, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, or reaching. The employee may frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and/or occasionally 50 pounds. Vision abilities required are close, distance and ability to adjust or focus. This position could have possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, risk of radiation and vibration. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet, hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions. Protective clothing or equipment may be required including gloves, helmets, steel-toes boots and protective eyewear. Due to the nature of work duties requiring close proximity to other employees of any vaccinated status, cloth face coverings or masks are required to be worn during specific procedures in our facilities to maintain the safety of unvaccinated employees per OSHA standards.

16 - 18 USD per hour (Barron Office)
