• The Director of Clinic Operations is responsible for efficient and effective management of Provider Clinic operations and the Department of Rehabilitation Services across Barrett Hospital & HealthCare, including: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Athletic Training programs for outpatient, inpatient, transitional care/swing bed, home health/hospice, school-based clients.
• The Director provides supervision of personnel, including ongoing development and performance evaluations; ensures competency in all direct reports; establishes, secures approval, and oversees practice related policies and procedures; plays a supporting role in provider and staff recruitment, retention, and engagement activities; ensures clinical practice compliance with all regulatory agencies; coordinates and provides mentorship to therapists within the department; leads process and quality improvement activities that support organizational strategic goals and objectives.
• The Director cultivates, plans, and implements programs, systems, and efficient workflows of clerical and administrative staff supporting processes that deliver superior patient experiences and high-quality services. The Director is responsible for applying sustainable staffing structures and productivity targets that best meet the goals of excellence in customer service standards and patient satisfaction. They may participate in multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and facilitate programs in the delivery of coordinated care. The Director plays a key role in the delivery and analysis of clinical personnel productivity reports, Clinic Facility and Rehabilitation Department revenue reports, and other necessary business reports that serve as tools to optimize success. They must be proficient in extracting and analyzing data from EPIC and/or other electronic health record systems.
• The Director is accountable for Clinic Facility and Rehabilitation Department operating budgets; reviews and adapts staffing to meet productivity targets; engages in business development/marketing activities; ensures that patient charges are entered timely and accurately; and oversees all other operational engagements. The Director is involved with the development of revenue targets and FTE budgeting in collaboration with fiscal and executive leadership team members. The Director also assures timely completion of quality & productivity reports for providers.

• The Director may also plan and administer medically prescribed therapy treatments, in accordance with their professional credentials and license.
