The Payroll Specialist position is a key member of the business unit team that consults on a broad range of organizational and management areas.
The primary objective of the Payroll Specialist is to process perfect and timely payrolls for around 60-80 clients with a variety of pay periods, pay cycles, and payroll complexities.
Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their payroll and accounting systems and processes to help identify and recommend process improvements.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong business acumen and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to deliver value proactively and consistently to our clients and internal teams.
This position reports to the Area Manager and works in partnership with other positions within the business unit, branch, and corporate office.
Desired Skills and Experience
vacation accrues up to 80 hours in the first year, up to 120 hours in years 2-4, and up to 160 hours in the fifth year; 6 paid holidays annually, 4 paid volunteer days annually.
