Barracuda Customer Success Engineering is looking for a detail oriented technical Senior Manager, Engineering to join the Customer Success Engineering team. This is a great role if you:

- Have significant experience mentoring, coaching and retaining high performance engineering teams.
What you’ll be working:
- Provide people management in a diverse cross-functional team.
- Manage HR activities (hiring, create and manage team goals, annual reviews).
- Coach and mentor team members through 1x1s and other professional development means.
- Enable a flexible yet productive work environment that supports a distributed workforce.
- Work with engineers to implement product features, debug issues, manage knowledge base and streamline processes to improve efficiency.
- Build best practices and capabilities to maintain and automate failover for multiple apps in AWS.
- Identify and champion process and productivity improvement strategies for the team.
- Manage the on-call rotation for the team.
What you bring to the role:
- 6 years of experience in managing small to medium size engineering team.
- Experience in engineering role within a software development team.
- Experience in building, developing, and retaining high performance engineering team.
- Demonstrated success in an Agile environment.
- Experience with daily operations associated with the responsibility for a SaaS web application running in a public cloud requiring 24/7 availability and operating at a large data scale.
- Experience in managing infrastructure in AWS using EC2, VPC, ELB, EKS, S3 etc.
- Proven ability to successfully work with multiple stakeholders, strong organizational and communication skills.
- Understanding of cyber security space and security threats.
