Barnsboro Inn is Hiring a Line Cook Near Sewell, NJ

Barnsboro Inn in Sewell, NJ is looking for cooks to join our team. We are located on 699 Main Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. We have a flexible work schedule. The restaurant is open 7 days a week.

We serve an American Tavern menu - a little of everything!

Responsibilities

● Stocking and setting up the kitchen stations 

●Cooking and plating sandwiches, fried foods, entrees, salads and appetizer according to kitchen procedures and standards 

● Preparing foods from scratch according to established recipes

Preparing, slicing, chopping, mixing fresh ingredients as required for service readiness

● Maintains a clean workstation at every opportunity

● Stores product and cleans line and appliances at end of shift, assists dish crew with closing tasks as needed

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations 

Cleans workstation, and equipment at end of shift. Assists and directs dish crew as need at kitchen closing

Qualifications 

● At least one year of cooking experience in similar environment preferred.

● Ability to follow instructions from other team members, and communicate and function as a integral part of the team

● Strong organization and active listening skills 

● The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time 

● Reliable, dependable, and committed to our team’s success. Able to work any and all assigned shifts.
