Job Title: End User Computing Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC or Boston, MA Overall Purpose of Role Working within a global team to provide engineering and technical support for the end user computing environment; whilst maintaining a secure, stable and performant environment. Provide operational support to the Barings’ teammates and end user computing services and infrastructure, including out of hours support and maintenance activities Participation in end user computing project activities Primary Responsibilities Job duties and responsibilities, not limited to: Providing 3rd line support for systems and services supported by the EUC team, which includes out of hours maintenance activities and escalation support rota. Maintain a secure end user computing environment through proactive vulnerability management, security baselines and operational controls Creating and maintaining Microsoft Windows10/11 build images and application deployment packages using MECM/SCCM Continuously seek improvements and to develop end use capabilities and services. Document configurations, knowledgebase articles and processes Partner with Microsoft and key vendors when required Participate in technology infrastructure and business driven projects where required Qualifications/Requirements Excellent customer service, high levels of communication and the ability to manage problems through to completion Extensive knowledge and deep experience with 2nd/3rd line support of Microsoft product suite including Microsoft Windows 10/11 Proven experience with configuring, operating, and supporting M365 services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, O365) Proven experience Microsoft Endpoint Management Intune /Autopilot Proven experience with SCCM/MEC to deploy and maintain Windows operating systems, M365 & business applications Good Working knowledge of Active Directory, associated tools, and Group Policies Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop is beneficial Experience working in enterprise environments that require strict adherence to change control policies and regulatory controls Core Competencies Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and presentations Detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks. Good time-management, organization, and communication skills.
