Our dedication to excellence drives every aspect of our operations, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Quality & Food Safety Specialist.

Position Overview : As a Quality & Food Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our quality management systems, monitoring production processes, and conducting thorough inspections to identify any areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, facilities, and equipment to identify any deviations from quality and food safety standards.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall product quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement food safety protocols, procedures, and training programs.
  • Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices related to quality management and food safety.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
  • Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in food safety (e.g., SQF, PCQI) is preferred.

Salary : $57,000 - $62,000 annually
