We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a 12-week paid internship in our Quality Assurance group in Ames, IA. As a key player on the team, the Quality Assurance Intern will be exposed to several core competencies within the Quality field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop procedure to synchronize review of audit criteria.
• Assist with creating a format to review and verify that criteria for various audit schemes are being met as part of the internal audit process. An example would be to review FSMA, FSSC 22000, AOECS, GFCO & Barilla GMP requirements and list complimentary requirements together for various internal audit verification topics so that the various audit requirements can be reviewed at one time.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Student with some college experience preferred.
• Can read technical documents and have basic understanding.
• Good attention to detail.
• Self-motivated
