Quality Assurance Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Review finished products for quality defects

Perform all DON testing (mycotoxin testing)

Appearance checks on products

Sample preparation (grinding) to be prepped for additional testing such as ash, protein, moisture.

Weekly scale calibration

Environmental Monitoring Swabbing (EMP)

Run ELISA testing methodology

Documentation of results & lab notes in excel

Working on additional small projects that are assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, Biology, Microbiology or other related field.

Prior industry experience preferred working in quality or food science.
