Now hiring a Patrol Security Officerinterested in providing safety and security in a professional manner for our residential property. The position is an onsite residential area. Patrol Security Officers are responsible for for perimeter and access control at new apartment homes in 6 buildings and 6 parking garages. For Patrol Security Officers a clean driving record is required as the guard will be driving a patrol vehicle that will remain onsite. As determined by our clients, mobile patrol agents make multiple, randomly timed stops during each patrol period and perform checks of all properties. Our Patrol Security Officers will ensure guests and employees feel secure and welcomed everyday. For all our positions, we are seeking candidates with exceptional presentation and customer service skills.

• Grave Shift (Thursday - Monday) 9pm-6am
• Salary: $27.00 per hour

Patrol Officer duties may include:

• Maintain a detailed on-duty activity log
• Respond to triggered alarms, distress calls, or calls for service
• Issue, log, and track parking violations; execute towing policies
• Extensive patrols by foot in addition to vehicle
• Generate awareness among communities
• Search properties for unwanted trespassers or suspicious persons
• Report emergency incidents to first responder agencies
• Investigate any potential safety issues or vandalism
• Maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies
• Deter or prevent any criminal activity or unacceptable conduct
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
• Adhere to company standards while interacting with the public, clients, and emergency responders
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small group to resolve urgent issues
• Process oriented with high attention to detail, and triage a problem quickly providing precise/clear information while working under minimum supervision
• Respond to various reports by customers/tenants at specific sites

Requirements:

• Must have Grave shift availability
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Current California Guard Card
• Must have a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 yrs (No suspension or revocation of driving privileges, No serious violations including DUI, suspended license, refusing a drug/alcohol test, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and eluding) (Vehicle Patrol Requirements)
• Reliable form of transportation
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies and processes
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.)
• Must be able to work in inclement weather
• Ability to move 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
• Professional appearance; well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings
• Desire to pursue police academy, law enforcement, or criminal justice career encouraged
• One year Previous mobile patrol, security officer, or asset protection experience
• Permit for exposed firearm is a plus
• Good driving history in order to be added to vehicle insurance at applicable sites or for vehicle patrol position
