Description:

The Senior Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician will follow well-defined instructions utilizing necessary skills to prepare sterile products, store, package and coordinate final products for Home Delivery, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Mastery and minimal direction needed to perform Pharmacy Technician functions required in a Home Infusion Pharmacy setting. These duties include but are not limited to: medication receiving, storage and inventory management, prescriptions/order entry, maintenance of all patient‘s related records, understanding of third-party adjudication. Skill and experience in sterile preparation and appropriate labeling of finished compounds. Understanding and able to facilitate prior authorizations and patient assistance with existing resources.Complete bill of sales/point-of-sale transactions. Schedule and coordinate home deliveries. Answer the telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff. Assist in inventory procurement and/or receiving, stock/supply replenishment, general pharmacy organization and cleanliness and provide exceptional customer service. Estimated pay range for this position is $20.94 - $27.22 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician Additional Qualifications: Home Infusion Pharmacy operations experience required. Experience may include internship training hours. Sterile Compounding experience required including preparation, storage, cleaning, maintenance and selection of sterile products related supplies.
