As one of our medical office records technicians, health information will be provided to authorize customers in a timely manner while ensuring patient confidentiality. The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of medical record experience and/or customer service experience is required.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and written; Proficient with computer skills; Detail-oriented; Ability to Multi-task; Must be highly organized, dependable and possess the ability to work independently. Highly developed organizational skills are required.
• Knowledge of Medical Record laws and retention.
• Be able to make recommendations and handle complaints and requests in a professional and calm manner.
• Good communication skills and possess appropriate ability or skill set to take up roles and responsibilities on a pro-active basis.
