BTC, a leading force in addiction recovery, is recruiting a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to spearhead our mission of transforming lives through comprehensive, compassionate care.The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our treatment center in Castle Rock, CO. With a focus on managing and coordinating all facets of the treatment centers, they will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to diverse populations with substance use and mental health disorders. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and health-care facility guidelines. Additionally, the Executive Director will lead financial management efforts to support the organization's mission and facilitate growth through effective management of insurance and other pay sources.
Position Details
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.
  • Location: On-site presence required in Castle Rock, CO.
  • Compensation: $100,000-130,000/annually; salary is dependent on experience, working knowledge of industry and area, and credentials.

Essential Functions
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the overall management of the treatment centers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both locations, including program development, clinical services, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment services.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of a diverse patient population and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated and coordinated care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Monitor program outcomes, financial performance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies, community organizations, and funding sources.
  • Provide leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Represent the organization in professional forums to enhance visibility and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Oversee budget development and financial planning for sustainability.
  • Manage billing and reimbursement processes, including negotiations with pay sources.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and cost containment strategies.
Preferences
  • MBA or MHA is strongly preferred.
  • Work experience in the field of substance use disorder or mental health treatment, preferably in a Senior Management capacity.
  • Work experience in a healthcare setting in the state of Colorado.
  • Association with American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) or the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
Qualifications
  • Master's degree, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing healthcare facilities and employment law.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
