Banks Power is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Azusa, CA

Turbocharged high-performance engine developer and manufacturer, Banks Power, is looking for a thorough Quality Technician that communicates well with both internal and external partners. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our industry-leading products. You will sit within our Engineering department, reporting to Product Development Manager.
We're unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect products supplied by vendors prior to warehousing/inventory/shipping, including: visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of all products.
  • Maintain records of quality checks and testing.
  • Maintain records of first article inspections. Generate First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).
  • Work with Engineering to create check fixtures as needed.
  • Support Engineering in determining product disposition.
  • Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, plus a minimum of 2 years' professional experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician.
  • Understand manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Ability to use own judgment to determine disposition.
  • Ability to read basic blueprint dimensioning.
  • Experience using geometric measuring tools, including digitizers and 3D scanners.
  • Intermediate digital literacy, including familiarity with 3D scanning.
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data.
  • Attention to details, excellent communication skills.

Hourly pay
$20—$25 USD

Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
