Bang & Olufsen is Hiring a Channel Marketing Manager, North America - 6 month contract Near New York, NY
Join us to help create, build, and enhance impactful marketing initiatives for our multibrand channel across North America. As our Channel Marketing Manager, your mission is to develop new and maintain existing marketing initiatives for our Win New York initiative. It is a key role to continue driving profitable partnerships, host community events, and build and execute 360-degree campaigns with an eye towards growing sales and brand awareness. This is a temporary position in our North American Marketing & Communications department for 6 months. Key responsibilities Develop a comprehensive 6-month rolling plan for NYC according to the overall strategy of North America and within the predetermined budget. Co-develop and execute individual programs to expand the brand presence and purchase intent among specified consumer segments. Co-development and execution of Visual Merchandising standards for both Bang & Olufsen Showrooms Develop product launch initiatives and event concepts in support of the North American strategy. Collaborate and execute applicable global marketing programs in the New York City market including digital plans, paid media, collateral materials, CRM programs, and POS materials. Build relationships with external partnerships to support account management in partnership with the Sales lead. Collaborate for the successful implementation of the regional PR and training programs What you bring We seek someone with strong relationship-building skills and with experience leading trade/channel marketing activities for a premium or luxury brand and a strong understanding of the NYC market. We imagine that you are someone who is an established partner to sales teams and are able to work hand-in-hand to drive sell-out with both ‘brick & mortar’ and online presences. More specifically, you bring: A degree in Business/Marketing is preferred 5 years of all-round experience in luxury goods Marketing, ideally within trade/wholesale marketing Demonstrated ability to lead and manage relationships with a diverse segment of industry partners, examples include music, art, interior design, custom installation, and more. Strong relationship building and people skills. Agility to adjust approach and message based on the audience. Strong budget management ability. Overall strategic understanding of return on investment and business operations. Strategic thinker, but pragmatic implementor. Highly organized and analytical Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint Strategy development and implementation within assigned area in line with overall B&O North America strategy Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of luxury and lifestyle market including trends, products and players Understanding or ability to learn the consumer electronics market including trends, technology, products and players. What we offer As well as collaborating with our North American Marketing & Communications team, this role will have a close partnership with the Sales Managers and Showroom Associates. Additionally, the Channel Marketing Manager will regularly interact with our global marketing and sales support teams in Denmark.
