Job Description:

Provides accurate information of incoming deliverables into system that will be used by DC, Sales, and Brand Teams for their ongoing department functions. This will include working directly with the Brand Managers for Acumatica assistance including item set-ups, information updates for system entries, and Purchase document related activities. Fast paced environment, eager to learn the business with potential growth within the department. Good communication skills are vital for the success of this role. Provides accurate information of incoming deliverables into system that will be used by DC, Sales, and Brand Teams for their ongoing department functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Register new items into system and update existing system information for product updates, localize provided information such as measurement conversions from metric to customary system, localized English for JP-ENG and CN-ENG information.

  • Purchasing: Create and edit Purchase Orders and Purchase Order related documents such as PO Requisition forms based on information provided by BM team

  • Purchasing: Create and edit Purchase Orders and Purchase Order related documents such as PO Requisition forms based on information provided by BM team

  • Logistics Support: working with Brand Team and Logistic team members for updates on upcoming items in system including carton dimensions and weight

  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills to handle day-to-day tasks efficiently.

  • Adaptability and Cross-Training:

  • Ability to seamlessly switch between Purchasing and Logistics tasks.

  • Willingness and aptitude for cross-training in both areas.

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and make quick decisions.

  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues in Purchasing and Logistics.

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchase orders and logistics processes.

  • Proven ability to proactively identify potential issues and take preventive measures.

EXPERIENCE AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Efficient time management skills to handle peak times and unexpected absences.

  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.

  • Experience with functions such as data sorting, filtering, and creating formulas.

  • Knowledge of Excel features relevant to purchasing and logistics, such as managing inventory data or creating reports, useful not required

  • Interest in anime, character products useful not required

  • Language: Japanese useful, not required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
