POSITION SUMMARY
Physically agile warehouse driver to fulfill time-sensitive delivery duties. The warehouse driver should inspect assigned routes, gather shipments, load, and unload the delivery vehicle and transport to its destination.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Safely transport goods to delivery locations.
- Ability to prioritize all the tasks and meet deadlines
- Physically capable to load and unload box trucks and other vehicles.
- Keep accurate records of shipments being loaded and delivered.
- Updating inventory records for items delivered.
- Managing paperwork associated with the deliveries.
- Adhering to specified routes and following time schedules.
- Following all transportation laws and having a clean driving record.
- While no deliveries, driver will be helping with rework.
- Have valid CA driver’s license.
- DOT Certified.
- Distribution or warehouse operations experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to oversee and prioritize delivery routes and meet deadlines.
