Speech Language Pathologists (SLP's) assess, diagnose, evaluate, and treat children with a wide variety of confirmed or suspected developmental disabilities.The Brockton Early Childhood Intervention Program is a public health program that provides therapeutic support to infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or are at risk for such delays. The goal of the program is to help children as soon as possible so they can reach their full potential. Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and skill development.
Must be a licensed SLP in the state of MA , have a Master's degree, and a valid driver's license in state of residence with own means of transportation. Home visiting to surrounding towns is required.

General Statement of Duties: Assess, diagnose, evaluate and treat children with a wide variety of confirmed or suspected developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete speech/language evaluations on developmentally disabled children as requested or recommended.
2. Provide individual treatment at children's home addressing developmental needs.
3. Develop, write and implement IFSP goals in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team.
4. Provide training to staff and families.
5. Complete reports and progress notes as well as interpret reports to staff and families.
6. Choose appropriate training materials.
7. Perform duties consistent with agency/program policies and procedures.
8. execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards. Universal/standard precautions must me utilized an training obtained in areas that constitute risk.
9. Develop supervision skills.
10. Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.
11. Participate in monthly supervision and/or staff meetings as assigned by supervisor
