Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

Essential Job Duties

As the Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering an exceptional administrative interface for our products. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring that our administrative users have an intuitive, efficient, and delightful experience. This position requires a seasoned leader with strong strategic vision, product management expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your initial areas of focus will be:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Admin Experience, aligned with overall company goals.
    • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, designers, and engineers to execute on the product roadmap.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product management team.
  • Product Development:
    • Drive the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and conceptualization to delivery and optimization.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product launches.
    • Prioritize features and enhancements based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • User Experience and Design:
    • Champion the importance of user-centric design principles, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interface for administrative users.
    • Work closely with the design team to create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that align with user needs and business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, measure product success, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement a robust system for gathering user feedback and iterate on product features based on insights and data-driven findings.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to align product strategy with overall business objectives.
    • Act as a spokesperson for your teams, effectively communicating product updates, milestones, and strategy to both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on administrative or enterprise-level products.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with user experience design principles and methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable using data to drive decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
