Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing music education and instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Duties:
- Develop and implement music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students how to read sheet music, play instruments, and understand musical concepts
- Provide individual and group instruction in various musical styles and genres
- Conduct rehearsals and performances with student ensembles, such as bands or choirs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary lessons
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to engage students in the learning process

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance techniques
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
- Experience working with students of different ages and abilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey musical concepts to students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies to maintain an organized and productive learning environment
- Familiarity with special education practices for supporting students with special needs
- Experience tutoring or providing additional support to students who require extra assistance
- Ability to collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success

Pay: $58,555.17 - $64,862.14 per year
