The Job. Upkeep, preventive, and daily maintenance are of utmost importance. The lube technician oversees the daily maintenance of CNC machines, deep bore drills, and any other supporting equipment in the manufacturing floor. The lube technician will be monitoring, documenting, adding, and maintaining all the lubrication, cutting, and coolant fluids in the machinery and supporting equipment. Changing filters of the machines following the schedules. Manage, classify, and dispose of machine waste material. Assist the senior mechanics on preventive and corrective work.

Work Environment.

Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.

Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oil, etc.

Shift: 12 hour shifts available

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Some experience in industrial maintenance

· Self-motivated, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

· Work independently with minimum supervision

· Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and work well with others

· Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

· Able to read written instructions, and take verbal instructions

· Able to keep accurate records such as work activities, tasks carried out, and parts used

· Able to perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs by following written work instructions, blueprints, and schematics in a timely manner

· Able to assist senior technicians in the completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications to machinery and equipment

· Basic understanding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

· Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment

· Able to use, care, and storage of shop hand and electric tools

· Able to comply with OSHA requirements of PPE (safety glasses and safety non-slip shoes), and use of gloves, hard hat, and ear plugs when needed

· Able to stand and walk for 12 hours a day

· Ability to become forklift certified and understand basic operations

Preferred Requirements 

· Two years vocational, trade, or college in a related field

· 1 years of experience in industrial maintenance

· Forklift certification and 1 year of experience operating a forklift
