The Construction Support Associate is responsible for coordinating the communications and documents necessary to support accurate and timely house construction. Additional record keeping and office duties are included in the job responsibilities.

The significant Construction Support Associate duties include:

· Set up and maintain house files

· Forward accurate and timely updated information for dead sales and spec sales to appropriate subs, suppliers, field, sales and office personnel.

· Assemble and provide start packages to Production Manager and Superintendent

· Assemble and provide foundation start packages to Foundation Superintendent

· Apply for and obtain foundation and house construction permits

· Apply for and obtain electric, gas and temp pole meters

· Apply for and obtain water meter releases

· Complete check requests to Lexington for permits and water meters and follow up on obtaining building permits and water meters weekly.

· Timely distribute required spec/selection information to subs, suppliers, field and office personnel, keeping appropriate parties advised of any change orders.

· Fax time sheets for employees to Lexington each Monday morning after Production Manager prior approval.

· Update and distribute weekly reports each Friday --- start log, job delivery, closing log, tops schedule, house schedule, foundation schedule, status, frame package delivery

· Update Start Log continuously including assistance of Selections Coordinator.

· Manage sod plot process and related invoice verification

· Update Newstar schedule module and individual job schedules

· Track and obtain Certificates of Occupancy

· Submit new vendor/contractor packages

· Assemble invoices for weekly Superintendent review and scan to Lex office

· Assemble status report for weekly Superintendent update and scan to Lex office

· Update vendor phone lists

· Update and track escrow release log

· Submit updated vendor insurance certificates to Lex office

· Submit monthly mileage logs to Lex office

· Travel to municipal agencies and to subdivisions required

· Typing and computer skills required
