Housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms and common areas such as lounges and dining areas in multiple healthcare settings. No prior experience is necessary.

Follows proper techniques in the use of chemicals and potentially hazardous materials in the workplace and ensures that established infection control and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing daily tasks.

Ensure all cleaning equipment is in safe working order, reports equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, all chemical used is replenished, and properly stores all materials at the end of each work shift.

Complies to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.

Maintains standards of resident privacy and confidentiality.

Attends and/or participates in required meetings, training, and in-services.
