OakLeaf Clinics - Pine Grove Family Medicine: Stein and Clairemont has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a part-time (25-29 hours/week) housekeeper.

OakLeaf Clinics is dedicated to providing our patients with compassion, trust, and a lifetime of individualized care. Our healthcare team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and medical assistants working in concert with laboratory/imaging services to offer individualized care to the Chippewa Valley.

Position description

As a housekeeper, you would attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail to create a clean and orderly environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning Patient Rooms: Vacuum, wipe down counters, and clean sink.
• Public Areas Maintenance: Clean, vacuum, sweep, and maintain the clinic's common areas, including the entrance, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms, ensuring they are tidy and free from hazards.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries in patient rooms and designated areas as needed.
• Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Comply with all safety and health regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Familiarity with various cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals used in healthcare environments
• A keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
• The ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy objects as required by the job
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting work schedules
• A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and other hospital staff
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle emergency cleaning situations
• Good verbal communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting (preferred)
