Western Wisconsin Health is seeking full-time Medical Assistants (1.0 FTE) to work in the Baldwin clinic. The MAs are key members of the health care delivery team responsible for flow of patients through the clinic. Responsibilities also include obtaining and verifying information from the patients to maximize provider’s efficiency. The MAs assist physicians and physician assistants prepare for patient exams and treatments, and provide other support functions as directed. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values.

$3000 Signing Bonus:

• $1500 paid on first paycheck
• $1500 paid after 6 months of employment

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or LPN)
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Prior experience with electronic medical records

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Critical thinking skills (foresight to pre planning of visits)
• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records
• Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information
• Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards

Work Schedule:

• 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per biweekly pay period
• Opportunities available in Family Practice, Specialty Services, and Float to Womens Health, Urgent Care, and Pediatrics
