About the Position

BNN is looking for a talent candidate to fill a System Administrator opening with a focus on automation. This position will work within the firm’s Systems Administration team to assist with automating daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to help improve the reliability, efficiency, and security of all existing and new technologies (e.g. hardware, software, server OS’s, cloud computing, networking, telephony, etc.).

Competencies and Position Requirements

  • Ability to audit business and IT processes and build roadmaps to automate them
  • Analyzes business processes, software capabilities, and bank product gaps for efficiency, improvement, and automation opportunities
  • Leads efforts related to End User Experience (CX/UX), software integration, software improvement, regression and acceptance testing, end user training, software launch, and support efforts
  • Collaborate in short- and long-term technical, product, and business process vision, strategy development, and translate that strategy into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to understand business and functional requirements to develop automation, requirements and deliverables to Development, QA, and Production environments
  • Works on problems of moderate to advanced scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and a wide command of various technologies and integrated components
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to secure cooperation for plans and resource scheduling
  • Research, analyze, and propose software solutions that solve business challenges

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree (or higher) in a relevant Information Technology field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT support or administration position with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience administering and managing tools within the Microsoft tech stack (PowerApps, Entra ID, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, RAML, Exchange, Design Center) or other automation tools (Workato, Boomi, Tines, etc.)
  • Experience implementing RPA and OCR automation software
  • Experience configuring and deploying applications using CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with application administration, configuration, and tuning
  • Experience with troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools
  • Experience with SOAP and REST APIs
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
