The Commercial Finance Analyst is a key analyst role responsible as part of the Baker Corporate financial planning and analysis team covering commercial finance activities and reporting in Baker Hughes. In the role you will support key Baker Hughes planning and reporting activities, such as Orders forecasting, Orders reporting, Energy Transition orders, and supporting projects to drive processes and IT systems improvements. Additional responsibilities include support for supporting the Strategic Long-Range Plan across Baker Hughes.

As the Commercial Finance Analyst, will have the following responsibilities for the overall Baker Hughes company:

• Commercial analytics for Baker Hughes planning cycles including forecasting of Orders, Energy Transition Orders and Software and Digital growth.
• Quarter close financial analysis: responsible for several processes to ensure quality analytics around commercial data.
• Residual Performance Obligations (RPO) - RPO analytics that support the closing and reporting cycle and detailed RPO analytics to help the leadership team better understand future revenue and margin projections.
• Reporting activities: support the internal and external reporting team in validation of financial metrics for external disclosure (i.e. Earning release, 10Q and 10k disclosures).
• Long-Range Plan: Corporate Governance ownership of the Long-Range Plan process. Perform strong analytics to help the leadership team drive business improvements.
• FP&A IT systems improvements relating to commercial activity: support redesign and own maintenance of FP&A planning forms, inclusive of needed training and support to end users across product companies.
• General: support and inclusiveness with a wide range of stakeholders; liaising with all product companies and support junior members of the team.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Finance).
• 2 years of Finance/FP&A experience/Finance Systems experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Extensive financial analytical skills, to drive insight and solve problems quickly, and attention to details/accuracy.
• Commercial Finance experience.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple priorities with proven organizational skills.
