Job Summary:
Shoreline Motors in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our customers' vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a strong attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is $27 to $35 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair services on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, engine diagnostics, and more
• Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide cost-effective solutions
• Perform all repairs and services in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Document work performed and parts used on each vehicle
• Keep a clean and organized work area at all times
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and certification programs
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service in a timely manner
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or ASE certification is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
• Knowledge of electronic systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work
