Summary: Utilize transportation management system (TMS) to coordinate and plan inbound, outbound, direct-ship, and backhaul shipments. Assure all loads are tendered in a timely manner so that all purchase and sales orders will be delivered. Resolve and/or escalate when orders are not confirmed as tendered. Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure purchase orders are moving through the system during creation, change, receipt, and settlement. Monitor data concerning routing locations, carrier rates, vendor allowances, etc.
