Bailiwick is seeking an experienced Lead Warehouse Associate to contribute to our ongoing success and growth. The role of the Lead Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks related to warehousing. This would include receiving, storing, shipping, picking of materials, issues management, and reporting. This individual would be recognized as a subject matter expert within the warehouse department and helps to train/onboard newer associates and answer questions that arise during our normal work activities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse:

• Receives products and/or materials
• Examines products and/or materials for damage
• Stores products and/or materials according to established procedures and locations
• Picks and fills requisitions for materials and/or products
• Maintains inventory records
• Determines proper method of shipment and packages and prepare products and/or materials for shipping
• Operates forklift, pallet jack and other tools as needed
• Oversees daily issue management and reporting dashboards
• Understands and follows materials management SOP’s
• Past experience writing SOP’s
• Enters inventory information into ERP system
• Answers questions and assists less experienced warehouse personnel with procedure and/or documentation

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent related experience
• Minimum 2 to 4 years in an automated warehouse environment including using scanning / scan gun equipment
• Prior lead / leadership experience a plus
• Experience with a formal ERP system a plus
• Certified driving a forklift and pallet jack
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem solve
• Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately in a fast paced environment
• Dependable
• Positive Attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage one's own time effectively
• Must exhibit accuracy in performing warehousing tasks
• Any relevant certifications a plus.
