Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex business rules using the AION rule engine.
• Translate intricate business requirements into functional business rules tailored for steel manufacturing scheduling.
• Ensure that business rules are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Implement business rules within existing steel manufacturing scheduling systems.
• Integrate AION with other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure proper integration and functionality.
• Analyze current scheduling processes and identify opportunities for optimization using business rules.
• Implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance scheduling accuracy.
• Monitor the performance of business rules and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure accurate and consistent data management within the AION system.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business rules, processes, and configurations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and supply chain to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders on the use of AION and business rules.
• Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of business rules and AION capabilities.
• Ensure all business rules comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Support compliance audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Required Experience:

• Proficient in AION rule engine and business rules management.
• Strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes and industry-specific requirements.
• Experience with VB-based, proprietary object-oriented systems.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.
• Critical thinker capable of understanding and managing intricate business rules.
