Sentinel is the Department of Defense’s newest official “program of record,” having achieved Milestone B. It enjoys broad, strong support at the national level. It is a long-term project - the weapon system will deploy over a nine-year period beginning in approximately 2026, and remain operational until at least 2075. Sentinel is a career-defining program that will present unique and challenging opportunities that simply are not available with smaller projects.

In this position, you will provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment and sustainment. You will help shape the quality and performance of engineering and technical products from several hundred personnel supporting the government, and you will help educate and equip the government to acquire, operate, and maintain an entire weapon system-of-systems. You will become a trusted mission partner to the innovative, digital engineering-driven Air Force organization that is responsible to design, build, test, transition, and sustain the world’s safest, most secure, and effective land-based nuclear deterrent, on-schedule.
