We are looking for a Communications Specialist who is excited to learn and grow with our company as they connect with our employee base across the country, clearly communicate critical information to internal and external stakeholders, and engage and inspire employees to help them achieve business goals.

We are excited to welcome a motivated candidate with media and creative storytelling experience to our team.

In this role as a Communications Specialist, you will :

• Support the execution of the internal and external communications plans for teams who work on some of the most iconic, mission-capable combat systems in the world.
• Network across the company to support communications strategies to ensure business success and create engaging content on a variety of mediums.
• Collaborate with communications team members to support employee engagement and communications campaigns.
• Utilize a broad range of internal and external mediums to reach employees and share employee stories with internal and external stakeholders including face-to-face, video, digital and social media, newsletters, traditional media, etc.
• Use measurement tools to support, refine and drive communications strategy.
• Tell the stories of our employees, community, customers, and values through creative writing and employee engagement.
• Share bold ideas with a team-player mentality!

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as Communications, Journalism, or English.
• Digital communications experience and strong writing skills, as well as editing and proof-reading abilities.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to drive positive engagement from a diverse and widespread workforce.
• Experience in employee communications, social media, media relations, community relations and / or marketing communications.
• Knowledgeable in AP Style.
• This hybrid-friendly position requires the ability to support 2-3 days a week at either the Minneapolis, Minnesota site, or alternatively, the Louisville, Kentucky site.
• Travel of up to 10% required in support of events, meetings, trade shows, etc.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience working in a manufacturing / technical / or automotive environment is a plus!

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $64130 - $109010

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
