Job Description
- Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives. Expected to communicate any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents, and/or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Communicate any product quality concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner.
- Communicate any packaging concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
- Make spools, restock supplies, put finished rolls away, take out full skids, and assist with startups.
- Package finished goods into boxes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work areas by sweeping, dusting, and removing trash from the area on a daily/weekly basis.
- Expected to complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Standard Work Procedures.
- Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects, and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
- Responsible to comply with best practices and programs to ensure safe product packaging.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 12-hour swing shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
