Back To Health Chiropractic is Hiring a Chiropractic Insurance Specialist Near Draper, UT

Coding, billing and collecting on all patients and outstanding claims.

Helping the supervisor to organizing the department back in-house from an outside agency.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years medical billing/collections experience SPECIFIC TO CHIROPRACTIC, a must!!!

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

Relentless in the pursuit of a clean and organized department with minimal aged past 30 days.

Team player who is passionate about their work, prideful of their work ethic, reliable and will actively contribute to a positive work environment.

Self Motivated and willing to follow a task driven department that is macro-managed by daily task spreadsheets and stats tracking.

Motivated by weekly department meetings to follow up on all task spreadsheets and advancement in collection statistics, as they equate to our bonus program.

Practice Software is Chirotouch, it is preferred to have a minimum of 3 years experience

Electronic clearing house we use is Trizetto / Gateway EDI, it is preferred to have a minimum of 3 years experience

Job Responsibilities:

Verifying patient benefits by calling the insurance company and not relying on electronic clearing house.

Creating a spreadsheet of all payors websites for verifying insurance benefits and checking on claims status.

Processing, monitoring, and collecting of Medicare, Personal Injury and other commercial insurance claims and Patient balances in accordance with payer requirements

Importing/posting payments from all payer types both electronic and by paper.

Running reports and managing aged accounts.

Timely resolution of all claims including appeals.

Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors

Provide excellent customer service while handling collection calls

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient coding and documentation

EOB management: posting to patient accounts and follow up collection on missed payments.

Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of debt records
