Bacio di Latte, a high end Gelato shop, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee Southern California and U.S. Operations and expansions.

Bacio di Latte is a high-end experience gelato shop, making fresh Italian gelato every day in house. Established in 2011, Bacio di Latte has over 180 stores internationally. Our gelato reflects the passion and care that we take in making the best product possible. We are expanding and looking for exceptional talent to help our company grow! As Vice President of Operations for Bacio di Latte, you will oversee Southern California and U.S. Operations and expansions. The ideal candidate will have 3 years as VP of Operations in Fast Casual/QSR industry, with in depth knowledge and experience in new store openings and expansions, and a strong background in systems and structure. While driving a fun and collaborative company culture, you will direct operational strategies, drive sales and revenue, ensuring that the company's vision and strategic initiatives come to life in the U.S. market.

Responsibilities:

• The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities, District Managers and Management of all locations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures across all shops to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Lead and guide management teams through new store openings while overseeing all the pieces of critical path.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve operational goals.
• Lead and mentor District Managers and General Managers fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a presence in the shops on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with Brazil Product Developement team to develop and maintain new and customer focused product offerings.
• Communicate with US Production teams to ensure proper execution of existing and new products and flavors.
• Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that drive profitability, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of quality.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure seamless operations and cost-effective procurement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience as a Regional or Area Manager, Director of Operations, Multi-Unit Manager/GM in Fast Casual or High End QSR industry, OR 3 years’ experience as a VP of Operations.
• Strategic background with a passion for hospitality and the ability to oversee multiple direct reports.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and inspire a diverse workforce.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors and cross functional departments in the U.S. and Brazil.
• Desire and willingness to work side by side with teams in the shops.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Flexibility to work and travel as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
