Job Description

The General Manager/Office Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks. This company is looking for someone willing to wear multiple hats and someone who has a “can do” attitude. The ideal candidate will be working closely with the Owners of the property and be the primary point person to run all aspects of the business, as well as, assisting Owners with their personal needs. Someone with a construction industry background would be a good fit. A high level of integrity, honesty and trustworthiness is required for this position.

Responsibilities of the qualified candidate, including but not limited to:

· Budget and bookkeeping responsibilities (knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a plus)

· Assist with managing current construction projects and interface with contractors

· Operate management software (ResNexus, VRBO, AirBnB, etc.), including daily functions such as taking reservations, editing reservations, assigning and managing entry codes, managing ongoing reservations, automated emails and parkwide announcements.

· Ensure all guests timely sign all required paperwork such as rules, waivers, etc., and work to make the guest’s experience(s) as good as possible with superior customer service at all times.

· Answer phones, return voicemails and answer text messages through softphone system; must learn functions of softphone system.

· Enforce company policies; assist in developing and improving processes and profitability

· Manage other personnel:

§ Hire, train, and manage front desk personnel that we anticipate bringing on board in order to substantially take on the first four bullet points above, as construction is completed on the new sites.

§ Assist in hiring and managing maintenance and housekeeping staff as needed. Duties may include assigning maintenance projects and ensuring their completion, reporting hours worked and scheduling maintenance projects. Answer housekeeping staff questions and ensure all housekeeping supplies are being ordered and stocked.

· Manage onsite rentals and organize/plan monthly events:

§ Complete walk-throughs and inspections.

§ Manage calendar as needed, such as requests for extensions of stay.

§ Respond to guest’s needs during stay and reviews left by guests.

§ Buy supplies and food for events; planning accordingly for the number of attendees.

§ Oversee events and coordinate with onsite staff.

· Manage social media.

· Ensure all physical mail and email is received, sorted, delivered, scanned, responded to, and/or filed appropriately.

Qualities desired in ideal candidate:

· A candidate with stability in past positions is required.

· A minimum of 2-3 years in the construction industry and/or same similar type position/role, along with a minimum of 2-3 years as an Executive/Personal Assistant in a fast paced environment.

· Be a team player in an entrepreneurial environment and be willing to wear and take on many hats during working hours.

· Very strong communication skills and be willing and eager to receive feedback regarding job performance.

· Forward leaning thinker; this job requires you to think ahead and anticipate the needs of the owners as their personal /executive needs.

· Must be extremely organized and able to track multiple projects at the same time.

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Salary

Excellent pay up to $70,000 (or possibly more for the right candidate) with full benefits
