Role Description

The LPN will act in a dual role capacity supporting both the office, caregivers and clients with daily/operational needs. Duties will consist of meeting/greeting new clients and caregivers at introductions, covering caregivers' vacations and sick calls, mentoring and shadowing new caregivers, and supporting the Operations team with projects, as assigned. The position is full time (40 hours per week) with a flexible schedule. This is a great position for someone who likes some variety and spontaneity to their day.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

• Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life
• Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor and office staff
• Provide Companionship & Home Helper services (as needed) which could include:
• Companionship and conversation
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
• Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
• Performing light housekeeping tasks as needed (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
• Provide Personal Care services (as needed)which could include:
• Assisting with bathing
• Assisting with grooming
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
• Provide Specialized services which could include:
• Advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
• Hospice Care

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a caregiver/LPN, preferably in home care or a related setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
