B2B Geeks is Hiring a Sales Representative - Low Voltage Structured Cabling Near Los Angeles, CA

B2B Geeks is seeking a skilled Sales Representative with experience selling Low Voltage Structured Cabling Systems in commercial buildings to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the point of contact between B2B Geeks and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell B2B Geeks Structured Cabling systems and services to prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Be responsible for identifying customer needs and develop strategies to meet company sales objectives.
  • Find and establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls.
  • Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company structured cabling offerings, including fiber optic cabling, copper cabling, and wireless solutions.
  • Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform the necessary follow-up for a successful closing of the sale.
  • Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow-up sales.
  • Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years successful sales experience with commercial structured cabling systems with specific knowledge of industry specifics such as Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, wireless access points, etc.
  • Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities.
  • High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
  • Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, success driven, have strong organizational and negotiating skills, a multi-tasker, reliable, self-determined, and have excellent follow-up skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
  • Must be proficient in the use and application of industry-related equipment including MS Office, Monday.com, Google Suites.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors and end users.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week

Compensation package:

  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 50% travel
