About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key collaborator with the President, the President's Council, and the Board of Trustees, and will be responsible for directing and overseeing all institutional financial activities. This includes maintaining a positive and steady cash flow, a positive net income, and ensuring the overall financial health of the university. The CFO will also be tasked with ensuring that every level of the university's profit and loss, from aggregate to granular, operates with a positive income. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of five years of finance or financial management experience is required, with a proven record of contributing to the success of a business or start-up. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to the educational mission of the university. They should be highly collaborative, with exceptional management, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
