The Senior Manager will lead the “Becoming a Business Card Customer” and “Managing My Business Card Account” experiences within the Card and Merchant Services line of business. This will be a role focused on growth and innovation for Small Business Card, specifically building capabilities and features to improve the account opening and account management experience. Responsibilities will include establishing the strategy, leading foundational changes, and driving initiatives to provide business owners with a seamless, best-in-class business credit card account opening experience, as well as providing solutions to help customers manage their Business Card account. The Senior Manager will lead business initiatives end to end with key functional partners and agile product teams. This will include redesigning experiences, reengineering processes, enabling robust test and learn agendas, and creating new and innovative solutions to increase value to the business. This role will require strong experience in risk, lending, fraud and analytics as well as a deep understanding of the application development life cycle. Necessary to the role will be a high degree of interfacing both written and verbally with key internal partners and teams to drive change. In this role, you will: Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants to drive initiatives to improve the end-to-end account opening and account management experiences for our Business Card customers Partner across the organization to drive positive change for our Business Card customers, driving forward best-in-class capabilities and experiences Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution Develop and guide an open, inclusive, feedback rich culture focused on doing what is right for our customers and employees Required Qualifications, US: 6 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 3 years Management experience Desired Qualifications: Experience working within an agile product environment Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members Experience leading large scale initiatives end to end across a large organization, with multiple stakeholders and partners Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change Prior experience in Financial Services supporting Small Business customers Demonstrated understanding of the customer journey experience with an ability to drive transformation and changes end to end Be a collaborator and a relationship builder across the organization to effectively drive the business forward Experience leading change management initiatives Must have strong analytical abilities, a self-starter with a drive for results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex initiatives concurrently Must have excellent verbal/written communication and strong writing/presentation skills, experience using data to tell a cohesive story to gain alignment with key partners Job Expectations: Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
