About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager as part of the Trust Specialty Asset Services Support team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. The Operations Manager will be over a production processing subset of the full Trust Specialty Asset Services Support team focusing on specific activities in support of oil, gas, mineral, real estate and insurance assets along with other specified trust functions as deemed applicable. In this role, you will: Manage and develop one or more specialized trust services and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized asset functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area Build out a team by quickly learning new processes and procedures to then train team members on Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers Lead team to achieve objectives and meet daily functions of Specialty Asset Services Support operations Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent Required Qualifications: 4 years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2 years of leadership experience Desired Qualifications: 4 years experience in brokerage/wealth management operations Knowledge and understanding of property and real estate insurance Exposure to Wells Fargo Trust operations applications and systems such as: SEI Trust 3000 and TRMS (Trust Money Movement Systems) Strong critical thinking skills, combined with high attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: Ability to work in office 5 days a week Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Posting Location: Saint Louis, Missouri Posting End Date: 2 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
