Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Driver Manager/Load Planner to join our team. As a Driver Manager/Load Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient delivery schedules. Your role will involve driver/fleet management, transportation planning, and data entry to support our supply chain and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements

- Plan and schedule shipments based on customer orders and delivery requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers regarding shipment status and updates

- Create, implement, and manage daily dispatch plans

- Assign dispatch based on driver availability, driver location, driver hours of service, etc. while ensuring all drivers enjoy equal opportunities

- Assist in coordinating maintenance on equipment under respective dispatch

- Assist drivers with work related problems as they develop

- Enforce policy and procedure compliance

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fleet management, transportation planning, and dispatching liquid tanks, dry bulk tanks, and backhauling is preferred
- Proficient in data entry and working with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and industry regulations
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address logistical challenges and optimize delivery schedules

- Starting pay may vary from listed based on experience level of applicant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
