Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. What will you do?
Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an ambitious and energetic Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our headquarters facility in Fairfax, Virginia with occasional overnight travel to our Melbourne, Florida, office; our contract manufacturing facility in Baltimore, Maryland; and various customer sites as required.. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
The selected candidate will report to the corporate Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and will be responsible for the information security posture for the company and will be responsible for the implementation of information systems at our Fairfax, VA, headquarters location. This position will be a key and valued member of our security team.
The ISSO will perform duties as defined within Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) directives, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DSS Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and relevant National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications.
