We are currently hiring for a Patient Advocate/Marketer to open our new branch in Tucson. This is a marketing/sales position. The ideal candidate will be driven, compassionate, and team oriented. The patient advocate is responsible for growing our census through patient, family and community education, as well as developing trustworthy relationships with referral sources. The Patient Advocate is an integral member of the Hospice team.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain positive, trustworthy relationships with referral sources (i.e., assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, physician offices, hospitals and community partners.)
• Grow census through patient education and referral relationships
• Educate patients, families, referral sources and community members on the hospice benefit.
• Work with the patient and clinical team to coordinate necessary services

Experience

• 3 years of focused marketing/sales
• Hospice knowledge preferred
• Relationships with local medical providers
