We are looking for a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our client's team in Carol Stream, IL. The CNC Laser Operator will be working for the Fabrication Department.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Laser machines proficiently.
• Produce flat pattern sheet metal parts with accurate documentation.
• Download CNC programs using various communication software.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and manage raw materials.
• Develop and maintain program parameters and tooling.
• Collaborate with Floor Leaders to ensure quality control and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the team for smooth shift transitions.
• Report concerns, issues, and shortages to appropriate leaders.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including navigation in Windows.
• Ability to differentiate colors, use basic hand tools, and read engineering blueprints and bills of materials.
• Proficient in operating various fabrication equipment with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of production/quality standards and assembly procedures.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D required; additional education preferred.
• 1-2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
• Forklift Certification required; sit-down with extended forks preferred.
• Experience with flat pattern machine operation/set-ups preferred.
• Preferably, familiarity with the foodservice manufacturing industry.

Shifts: Monday - Thursday
2nd - 2:30 pm - 1:00 am,

3d - 6:30 pm - 5:00 am
Pay:
2nd shift pay: $20.42/h

3d shift pay: $21.42/h
