Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Develop/improve/maintain the incoming inspection processes for purchased finished goods and create the infrastructure to support the incoming inspection activities and reporting of findings. Ensure test and procedures are carried out in a timely manner and the results evaluated, statistically analyzed and reported.
• Support new product development by executing qualification inspections and providing feedback to the appropriate AZEK team members (i.e. Product Management, Procurement, Quality, etc.)
• Identify gaps in purchased FG specifications and assist in the development of new quality standards when necessary. Work cross-functionally AZEK team members and vendors to improve specifications and incoming quality.
• Issue SCARs to vendors for incoming inspection failures, follow-up to ensure vendors identify root cause and implement permanent and irreversible corrective actions.
• Track and report SCAR status and monthly vendor scorecards.
• Implement statistical tools/techniques to evaluate vendor performance and identify trends that could impact end user satisfaction.
• Ensure test equipment is functioning properly and in current calibration status.
• Execute vendor quality system audits.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred, not required
Experience: 2 plus years of Quality experience, Supplier Quality experience a plus
Other Requirements: Experience/knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO, Six Sigma, TQ, PDSA, CI, 5S
Experience with dimensional, color and aesthetic evaluation
Demonstrated ability to use and understand common statistical analysis tools
Computer Skills: Minitab, MS Office, Quality Window V (or other database skills)
