Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina

Duties and Responsibilities

Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.

Respond quickly in the event of an emergency,

Notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol

Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations

Support the setup of ventilation, and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

Inspect alarm systems such as carbon dioxide and fire protection and quickly schedule repairs when needed

Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.

Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs

Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide

Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Able to pass all background checks.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Equivalent combination of work/education experience accepted

Experience – select one, remove remainder

• 1-3 years

Working conditions

The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.

Must be able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekend and some holidays. On-Call availability outside of usual business hours is required.

Occasionally works in outside conditions that include exposure to inclement weather, heat and humidity.
