SCHEDULE: Flexible Schedule (Must be willing to travel to all Avenues locations)

General Duties:

• Will comply with all agency policies and procedures
• Will advocate for the health and wellbeing of all program consumers
• Will report an unsafe or hazardous condition immediately
• Will report any suspected neglect or abuse immediately
• Will complete required training hours
• Will work hours as stated on the Job Description or as assigned by Supervisor
• Will perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Program Specific Duties:

• Will monitor all agency vehicles
• Will provide emergency assistance to drivers in case of breakdown or accident
• Will transport vehicles to schedule repair facilities
• Will before basic auto body repair
• Will perform monthly lift checks and maintenance
• Will perform routine maintenance
• Will check fluids, tire pressures, and maintain cleanliness of interior & exteriors of all vehicles
• Will keep garage area clean and hazard free
• Will perform building and ground maintenance as directed by supervisor
• Will keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance
• To complete bus run in the event that the driver becomes unable to do so

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years auto mechanic experience
• Must be able to safely operate agency vehicles
• Good work history
• 3 years of driving experience
• Valid PA Driver's license
• Have a clean driving record
• Acceptable results on all pre-employment testing and background checks
• The ability to comply with all physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years of age
