What you will do…
- Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with a diverse solutions delivery team.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licenses, service agreements, s, nondisclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
- Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and align with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Support the General Counsel on advising internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of SaaS transactions and technology-related contracts.
- Advise on employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, terminations, and compliance with labor laws.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact company operations and advise on necessary adjustments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to contract management, regulatory compliance, and employment law, providing day-to-day legal advice to various internal stakeholders.
- Be a key member of the legal team willing to step in and contribute where necessary to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
What you bring…
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to and good standing with the Texas state bar.
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as an attorney with a corporate legal department or law firm preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, intellectual property, and other related areas of law.
- Knowledge of technology law, SaaS industry standards, and employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively within a team to achieve results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work in the Dallas office as this is not a remote position.
- Axxess does not provide relocation for this position.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver under tight deadlines and energized by the opportunity to solve problems.
